Adnams Best Bitter

The classic Southwold bitter and Adnams favourite - brimming with the fragrance of our finest hops and malt, it's dry yet refreshing, with a lingering bitter flavour. 3.7% ABV.

Beers and Guest Real AlesAdnams Broadside

With a name that commemorates the fierce Battle of Sole Bay fought against the Dutch Republic in 1672 off the coast of Southwold, Broadside is rich, with aromas of almonds, zest and conserved fruit, and a perfect balance of malt and hop flavours - an award-winning pint to savour. 4.7% ABV.

Badger First Gold

Lauded for its well balanced bitterness, with hints of orange and spice, First Gold gives this classic Badger ale its clean, fresh distinctive taste. 4% ABV.

Bishops Finger

Brewed by Britain's oldest brewer - Shepherd Neame. This ember-warm Kentish ale takes the dense, rich fruit notes of gently roasted malts and mixes them with a profusion of locally grown Kent hops to give a satisfyingly clean, dry, lingering Seville-orange finish. 5% ABV.

Wells Bombardier has become synonymous with St. George's Day and all that is English throughout the length and breadth of the country. It is known as the 'Drink of England. A burnished copper colour, it has a rich, tempting aroma of peppery hops and raisins, while the palate is dominated by more dark fruit, juicy malt and tangy hops. 4.3% ABV.

Everards Tiger

A true award-winning best bitter with universal appeal. Tiger Best Bitter is the classic example of getting the perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. Crystal malt gives the beer its rounded toffee character. 4.2% ABV.

London Pride

Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller's is most famous. A rich, smooth and wonderfully balanced beer, its distinctive malty base is complemented by well developed hop character, from adding Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties to the brew. 4.7% ABV.

Greene King IPA

A perfectly balanced award winning beer, characterized by its hoppy taste and aroma that comes from the use of Challenger and First Gold hops which are combined with pale and crystal malts. The Official Beer of England Rugby. 3.6% ABV.

Ruddles County

A cask conditioned English Ale with a distinctive flavour of dark toffee and caramel combined with a crisp bitternes. Originally from England's smallest county - Rutland. 4.3% ABV.

Greene King Abbot

Brewed for quality of the highest order. An irresistible ale with masses of fruit characters. A malty richness and superb hop balance. It is brewed longer to a unique recipe, which makes it the full flavoured, smooth and mature beer it is today. 5% ABV.

Liberation Ale

Liberation ale is quite light and golden in colour. It has subtle sweet flavours, and a silky smooth taste with a lingering dry bitter finish. 4% ABV.

Marston's Pedigree

From Burton on Trent, Marston's Pedigree is premium ale, fermented in oak to give a unique, crisp flavour. It has a clear, amber body with a fine white head and it has a smooth malty, fruity, light caramel flavour with a good bitterness. 4.5% ABV.

Old Speckled Hen

A toffee-tinged, richly, warming ale with bursts of fruit stabbing through its overall blanket of maltiness. It finishes dry, slightly bitter and most refreshing. 4.5% ABV.

Rev. James

Dark brown in colour, the Rev. James is full-bodied and warming. It is rich in palate, spicy and aromatic with a deeply satisfying finish. 4.5% ABV.

Robinsons Unicorn

A golden coloured ale, with a spicy, hoppy and malty scent. It is a bitter ale balanced with sweet flavours. 4.2% ABV

Spitfire

Spitfire Premium Bitter has a full malt and hop flavour with a well balanced and lasting aftertaste. Amongst the most highly regarded cask conditioned ales in the country, Spitfire was awarded the coveted Gold Medal at the prestigious International Brewing Industry Awards. 4.5% ABV

Stones

Deep red with a light tan foam. Up front, the aroma is all piney, resinous and citrus hops. Upon tasting, the hops are still on the front, and they are balanced with the malty, toffee-like flavours. The finish is deliciously bitter, with a touch of warmth provided by its 5.4% ABV.

Full bodied with a medium bitterness and a rounded, smooth, hoppy flavour. Hints of melon and pear. A clean finish with some hoppy linger. 4.9% ABV

Tim Taylor Landlord

An award-winning bitter ale. Refreshing flavours with a complex and hoppy aroma. 4.3% ABV.

Full bodied and distinctive, 6X remains one of the South's most famous beers. The beer is mid-brown in colour, malty and fruity with balancing hop character. 4.3% ABV

Young's Bitter

Bursting with taste, Young's Bitter is an easy to drink, refreshing cask ale with a fresh, fruity aroma that leaves a long, satisfying bitter finish. It is traditionally brewed to deliver a clean taste and is light and dry in flavour with a subtle taste of hops. 4.5% ABV.

Randall's Patois

A local Guernsey ale, Randall's Patois is red amber in colour with a slim but decent white head and some inky lace. It has a bitter and musty flavor with some fruity malt in the background. Good dry palate and very well balanced. 4.5% ABV.
